About Biza

Our Founder, Stuart Low, launched Biza from his garage in Sydney in 2017, driven by a determination to simplify the Consumer Data Right. He set out to empower organisations of all sizes to conquer the fast-evolving demands of CDR compliance, designing a SaaS solution centred around business needs.

In July 2020, Regional Australia Bank (RAB) collaborated with Biza to deliver their solution. RAB made history as the first bank outside the ‘Big 4’ to achieve Data Holder status, well before the deadline. With momentum building, Biza relocated to Brisbane, expanded its expert team, and delivered three additional banks (four brands in total) into production before the July 2021 compliance cut-off. At this stage, 50% of all active Data Holders were running on Biza’s platform.

In August 2022, Biza secured $7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by OIF Ventures and Jelix Ventures, supercharging our innovation journey after a fiercely independent start. By 2023, Biza had cemented its market leadership by entering the Data Recipient arena, securely supporting data sharing for over 18 million Australians. 

Today, Biza’s expert team is shaping the nation’s future of secure, compliant Consumer Data Right solutions.
