Melcar joined Biza in August 2025 as Director of Product and Engineering. She is responsible for shaping and driving Biza’s product development strategy. She brings over 20 years of experience in technology, spanning financial services, fintech, and regulated industries.
Prior to Biza, she held senior leadership roles at SafetyCulture as Senior Director of Engineering, and at Tyro Payments as Head of Delivery, where she led the development of banking and lending products. In 2021, she partnered with Biza to deliver Tyro’s early compliance with the Consumer Data Right (CDR), making Tyro one of the first adopters outside the Big Four banks. Earlier in her career, Melcar worked with BlackRock in Singapore, gaining international experience in financial markets technology and large-scale engineering operations.
